Shipping
Depending on your destination, you can choose between either/or PostNL (Dutch national post service) or DHL. You will receive tracking information once a label has been printed. And yes, European consumer protection laws apply to you. Also see the Returns page.
There are 2 ways your items may be shipped: Directly from stock or via made to order.
From Stock:
Orders are usually dispatched within 5 working days. As a one-man-show (along with designing maps, making YouTube videos and regular life), it is impossible for me to dedicate that much time. Nonetheless; your orders are important and also vital to me. I will take as much care as possible handling, packing and providing information and service to you, as possible.
Made To Order:
When ordering something made to order, your item will be made specifically for you. This may take even longer than usual, but we strive to get you your print a.s.a.p.
General Notes
- Shipping on orders above €62 is free for countries with shipping costs below €29. See the chapter below.
- You will also receive email updates on your shipment along with track & trace information where available.
- You will get free stickers with your order as long as stocks last. Can't guarantee this (with the exception of made to order orders).
Shipping Times and Customs
Within the Netherlands your order will probably arrive within one or two working days of you receiving the Track & Trace code. However outside of the Netherlands the travel times will be longer the further away the package has to travel (obviously). Within Europe probably within 2 days to a workweek.
Outside of the EU or Shengen zone you'll also have to deal with customs regulations and possibly tax duties - please be aware of this and take the necessary precautions. Inform with your country's customs service for precise information – I cannot help you with that. Ordering something from abroad always comes with an increased risk attached, however I will always do my best to help out.
Shipping outside the EU or Shengen
When possible, if you order and ship to a destination outside the EU or Shengen zone, you may be required by your national customs agency to pay import duties. Please inform yourself of the possible costs before ordering, all international orders are shipped with the appropriate documentation. Outside of that I cannot help you with this. You may need to submit a customs declaration.
Pick-up (Netherlands only)
For Dutch customers it's possible to also select a "Servicepunt levering". After payment has been received you will be able to select a nearby service point where your order will be sent to for pick-up.
If, for some reason, it wasn't possible to select your service point, please get in touch and we'll make sure it gets sent to the right place.
Free shipping
There are multiple shipping fees per destination. Standard or Posters is (as the name implies) for the larger posters and maps and are the most costly. For many countries there is a Postcards Only shipping fee available.
If your order is above €62, shipping is often free. There are a few exceptions to this, which are countries with abnormally high shipping fees.
Free shipping is possible for the following destinations:
EU-nations with the exception of Bulgaria (sorry), Switzerland, Norway, United Kingdom, Iceland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, San Marino, Serbia, United States, Canada, Japan and China.
Shipping fees
There are multiple shipping fees available per country, for either/or DHL and PostNL. The fees are often variable and changing. To check what shipping will cost currently, please put something in your basket and enter your address at the checkout. Don't click buy if you just want to know the shipping costs of course.
There are 3 types of shipping fee you may be able to select on checkout, but not all may be available to you. This depends on your destination or the contents of your order. These types are:
- Regular (sometimes called World, or Europe, or International)
- Small (sometimes called Letterbox, Postcards Only)
- Free (exactly what it says)
