Downsides
Let's be blunt about the downsides, first. Because we invest in having your work printed up front and storing it, we retain the right to keep selling it until we're out of stock. We also set the price. Although we're open to discussing this. And, for instance, you'll obviously want to gift a few of your maps.
We also retain the right to stop selling your work at any moment in time. It's not likely, but a simple safeguard because who can really tell the. future...
Once we've run out of stock (or nearly), we'll ask you if you want to continue selling through us.
Upsides
You get to keep your copyright. We'll never make changes to your work without your permission (some technical requirements do apply that we need to sort out beforehand, see below).
You won't have to deal with the whole ordeal of running a shop and selling things worldwide. That's our problem. We deal with the admin, the order picking, keeping stock, customer complaints and questions, even ordering your maps from the printers.
For allowing us to sell your map, you will get a good percentage in royalties per map sold. We'll tally it all and send you a credit invoice and payment every month (or other agreed upon term).
We're not fond of spending time doing the marketing, we do our best. But hopefully you'll help us out a bit in that department yourself. It's in your interest to sell more, too.
